Having grown up living above a funeral home, I know all to well that death comes at the least opportune moments and the necessity of taking time to properly honor a life lived while the world keeps spinning.

I don't want you need to a coroner. Yet if you or a loved one should have a unexpected death, a coroner will be involved. By voting for Mark A. Our home growing up was above a funeral home. I learned as a small child that death is unexpected, it happens at the least opportune moment, and death impacts an entire community. Beyond the technical aspects of death investigations, I will honor the lives of the departed by uncovering their narratives—their joys, struggles, and contributions. Every individual deserves to be remembered, and I will ensure that their stories are heard, even the story told in death.

As a funeral director with over 30 years of experience, I will continue to facilitate healthy dialogue with medical professionals, law enforcement, Lake County officials and the community.

Educational Background: I am a licensed funeral director with over 30 years of experience. I have an associate degree in Mortuary Science from Chicago City Wide and have run a family funeral service for all of my adult life.
