*** We are praying for Trump, for those injured, and for the dear family who lost a life at the Trump Rally on 7/13/2024. We condemn all violence and rhetoric that incites violence. We stand united for the ideal: That as Americans, although we may have different political views, violence is never an option.

- I will conduct thorough death investigations utilizing proven techniques.
To preserve human dignity, I will ensure that the accurate cause of death is listed on the death certificate: including suicide, mental illness, drug related homicide, and/or medical conditions. This provides law enforcement the opportunity to target drug traffickers, protect communities, and prevent future harm to the community. It also allows outside healthcare agencies to designate funds to help prevent the leading causes of death.
- I will promote informed communities to help prevent avoidable deaths.
The community should be informed and therefore able to decrease the number of avoidable deaths. As coroner, I will come alongside law enforcement, health care providers, first responders, and community servants to keep illegal drugs and suppliers out of Lake County. I will also encourage volunteers to come together to provide necessary services to those impacted by an unexpected loss. Together we can decrease overdoses, fentanyl on the streets, and provide a safe community for our children to grow in.
- I will responsibly use our resources to provide accurate & timely results.
Proper use of resources will help provide answers to families & loved ones who are waiting for closure. Resources include equipment, people, monies and even cadaver dogs. I will provide effective communication of delicate information to compassionately bridge the gap between science and humanity.
As your Lake County coroner, I promise to uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and service.
